The USGA rule book is one of the most quoted and feared books in the game of golf. Â We all want to play by the rules but we don’t always want to know if we are breaking any rules that result in stroke and distance. (Damn you OB and white stakes). Â There are however unwritten rules of golf that are not written down but rather passed down. Â These are the unwritten rules of golf my dad taught me.
Once I felt comfortable with the rhythm, I applied it to my swing. Â On the first beat, the BOP, I started my swing. On the second beat, my backswing was half way done. Â On the third beat, I completed my back swing and initiated the downswing. Â On the fourth beat, I made contact and struck the ball in a smooth hit. Â I let another bar play before setting up for another hit.
