Recently, my wife went to a business trip in Colorado and I went along as a dutiful husband. The destination: Colorado Springs and the Broadmoor Golf Club. I did not take my clubs because I was leaving a day before her but the schedule opened and I found myself with a day to have fun. I called the pro shop and got a tee time on the West course and was grateful for the opportunity.
1757 Golf Club is located conveniently to Dulles International Airport. I bring this up as a plus for any aircraft spotting fans. The back of the course is on the approach end of the airport.
There are some golf courses that show you how golf should be played. Kiawah’s Turtle Point is one of those courses. Beautiful from top to bottom. What a day!
The concept of the error chain can be defined as a series of decisions that made one after another that lead to a terrible situation. This could all be eliminated by recognizing the start point and make a safe and prudent decision. This is easy to do on the ground but through training and constant vigilance the error chain can be eliminated.
